Services

We are committed to providing you the best comprehensive-dental care possible. The following is a list of the services provided by our office. Please click on the desired service you'd like to learn more about.

Comprehensive Examination

When you come to our office for a comprehensive examination, we will discuss with you your medical history to ensure we cater to any medical issues you may have. Necessary radiographs (x-rays) will be taken, and a doctor will examine all of your teeth for areas of decay, your gums and tissues for signs of disease, and address any overall conditions/concerns you may have with your mouth and personalize a treatment plan that fits your needs.

Dental Cleanings

When you have a cleaning appointment with our dental hygienist you visit will be focused on achieving gingival health and removing areas of plaque and tartar build up. Depending on the condition of your surrounding bone and gum tissue, your cleaning may be as simple as one visit or may need to be completed in several visits. The type of dental cleaning you receive will be discussed with you at your new patient examination. At the appointment, the hygienist will give you oral hygiene instructions to better care for your teeth and gums.

Emergency Visits

If you are experiencing a dental emergency, you may need to visit our office for an emergency examination. During your appointment, we will focus on your area of pain/discomfort and try to treat the problem if time permits. Since we understand the serious nature of dental discomfort, we will try our best to work your emergency into our schedule for same-day appointments.

Invisalign Clear Braces

Our office uses the Invisalign braces system. Invisalign utilizes a series of clear removable trays to gently straighten and align teeth.. They are able to be used on teens and adults and don't have the stigma that comes with wearing traditional braces since there are no wires or metal showing! If you are interested in knowing more about this treatment option, ask one of our dentists to see if you are a candidate!

Snap-On Smile

This wonderful alternative to expensive veneers and crowns gives you the cosmetic results you want without the associated costs and gives patients a way to "snap" on a new smile in an instant without the messy adhesives or clasps used with traditional partials and dentures.

Tooth-Colored Fillings

In our office, we only use tooth-colored fillings, since they are very esthetic, and we can match the shade of your filling almost exactly to the shade of your tooth. When the dentist finds cavities in your teeth, the cavities will be removed and the now-missing tooth structure will be replaced with the tooth-colored composite filling material. Under normal wear-and-tear, these restorations are very durable and can last a very long time if treated properly.

Teeth Whitening

If you desire to have your teeth become a few shades whiter to brighten your smile, then you may be a candidate for teeth whitening. Our office will make your bleaching trays custom-designed to fit your teeth. We use a special gel that is placed in the trays and rests on your teeth to whiten your smile.

Extractions

It is unfortunate when someone has to lose a tooth, but sometimes it is unavoidable due to very deep cavities or tooth infections. Our office is able to remove most teeth under local anesthesia or oral conscious sedation. Some teeth, like wisdom teeth, are oftentimes much more difficult to remove and we may need to refer you to an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon's office. If this is the case, or if you would prefer to be asleep for the procedure under general anesthesia, we will give you the option to be seen in a specialist's office to have the procedure performed.

Dental Crowns

If a tooth has a very large filling, has had a root canal, or fractures, then you may need a crown to protect and add strength to your tooth. Some tooth structure is removed from the tooth so that a crown can be made to fit over it. Your crown will be fabricated by our dental laboratory to custom fit your tooth in about two weeks. A temporary crown will be made for you to wear until the lab has completed your crown.

Bridges

If you are missing a tooth, then you may be a candidate for a bridge. Just like a crown, a bridge is simply several crowns "bridged" together to replace the missing tooth and is attached to the teeth adjacent to the space.

Complete and Partial Dentures

If you are missing several teeth, or even all of your teeth, then dentures are a very affordable way to replace them. A partial denture is an appliance that is made of acrylic resin and sometimes metal to replace a few teeth that are missing in the mouth. The partial denture attaches to your remaining teeth for stability and is a great way to restore your smile and bite.

A complete denture is made of acrylic resin, replaces all of the teeth in your mouth and is also a great way to restore your smile, if saving your teeth isn't an option. Making the dentures is very technique sensitive and can take several visits to complete. Since we perform a step by step process for making our dentures, we ensure that each step is approved by you, and that you are happy with every aspect of the dentures. In most cases, we will have a try-in appointment where you will be able to try the nearly-completed denture and verify that you approve of the teeth shape, color, fit, and bite of the denture. Upon your final inspection and approval, the denture will be sent to our dental lab for fabrication!

Root Canal Treatment

Sometimes the nerve inside the tooth can cause teeth to become overly sensitive or painful due to very deep cavities, trauma, or infection. In these cases, it may be necessary to remove the damaged or diseased nerve tissue inside the tooth to stop the tooth from hurting or to get rid of the bacteria inside the tooth causing the infection. Once the nerve is removed, it is replaced with a filling material to seal off the tooth from further invasion of bacteria. Once a root canal is performed, the tooth no longer has a blood supply and can become weak over time and a crown is usually indicated to help add strength to the tooth and protect the new root canal from bacteria.

Implants

Another option for replacing teeth besides a bridge or denture is an implant. Implants act just like your normal teeth and are surgically inserted into the bone just like the root of your natural tooth used to be. Once the implant is placed, a crown is made to go on the implant where it is permanently cemented. Implants are very successful and are usually the best option for replacing missing teeth.
